Trainee Electrical & Mechanical Estimators

Two excellent opportunities exist with an M&E Contractor based in Belfast, that would like to recruit a Trainee Electrical Estimator and a Trainee Mechanical Estimator.

The two roles will suit a time-served plumber/ electrician, who is prepared train and develop in the estimating department of this organisation. You will either be in the process of completing a HNC/ HND in Building Services or have the ambition to develop your studies further.

Reporting to the Company Director, the successful applicants will be required to:

• Work as part of the Estimating team to successfully achieve company and individual goals and objectives relating to the accurate and timely estimation of projects at the pre-tender stage of projects.

• To assist in ensuring that the content of each estimate fulfils the requirements of both the client and the company, and closely liaise with clients to ensure that each tender also meets these same requirements and timescales.

• Achieve first class company results by the confident use of negotiating skills based on a continuous customer service relationship.

• Schedule and organise works, carry out electrical installation estimates (initially under supervision), liaise with customer

• Prepare electrical/ mechanical installation quotes
