A Tier One Northern Ireland contractor based in Belfast wishes to appoint a Submissions Manager.

Reporting to the Head of Submission you will play a vital role in driving the work winning function the company and will be responsible for the following:

• The successful candidate will work on the preparation of Pre-Qualification Questionnaires (PQQs) and Tender quality submissions. Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Reviewing web portals for PQQ/Tender opportunities

• Analysing PQQ/Tender for viability; Creating/updating PQQ/Tender information on company IT systems

• Preparing written responses to PQQ/Tender questions

• Liaising with internal and external parties to obtain information for submissions

• Managing the clarification and RFI process; Proof-reading colleagues' work

• Preparing PowerPoint presentations for client interviews

• Creating/updating the pre-construction library/standard marketing information

• Attending site visits and participating in PQQ/Tender interviews

Essential

• Previous experience in a similar role

• Strong written and oral communication skills

• Strong IT and creative presentation skills

• Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to work under pressure and to strict timescales

• Time management and prioritising workload

• Ability to work on own initiative

• Team player

• Previous experience in the construction industry with advantageous but not essential.
