The CSR Group has an excellent opportunity with one of Northern Ireland’s medium sized building contractors. The company, based in Co. Antrim are currently recruiting for a Site Manager for a large civils based project in Ballymena, on a Fixed Term Contract (6months) with a view to a permanent position if required.

Project value is £1million +

Packages around £50 – 55k higher salaries depending on experience

Especially interested in candidates who can commence work in the next 4 weeks.

Requirements

• Ideally from a Engineering background
• Site Management Safety Pass & 1st Aid Training
• IT and standard industry software skills
• Concise report writing
• Ability to communicate confidently and professionally with all levels of staff and clients
• Experience of managing and developing a team
• Ability to work on own initiative
• Reporting to the Contracts Manager
• Ideally a strong civil engineering background

Responsibilities

• Managing foremen and subcontractors
• Day to day running of Site
• Planning resourcing of projects and monitoring against budgets
• Preparing and monitoring work programmes to deliver projects to deadlines
• Responsibility for maintaining excellent client relationships
• Providing specialist technical leadership
