Site Manager for Residential Construction Project

CSR is working with a leading construction company specializing in residential developments. With a reputation for delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget, they are looking to expand our team. We are currently seeking a Site Manager to oversee the construction of 10 large houses in South Dublin. If you are an experienced Site Manager with a passion for residential construction, this is an exciting opportunity to take the next step in your career.
Key Responsibilities:
- Site Supervision: Oversee the day-to-day operations on site, ensuring that work progresses according to plan, budget, and schedule.
- Team Leadership: Lead, manage, and motivate a team of subcontractors and workers to ensure high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.
- Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations on site. Conduct regular safety inspections and audits.
- Quality Control: Monitor the construction process, ensuring that the work meets all technical and regulatory standards.
- Material Management: Ensure the timely procurement of materials and equipment. Maintain an efficient inventory system to prevent delays.
- Problem-Solving: Address and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during the construction process in a timely and effective manner.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed and accurate records of site activities, including daily reports, safety logs, and progress updates.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Proven experience as a Site Manager in residential construction, ideally with experience managing similar large-scale housing projects.
- Strong knowledge of building regulations, construction processes, and safety standards.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- A valid CSCS card and relevant health & safety certifications (e.g., Safe Pass, First Aid).
- A degree in Construction Management or a related field is desirable but not essential.
- Full clean driving license.
