Your Role:

As the Senior Site Manager, you will be responsible for the overall delivery of the project, overseeing all site operations and ensuring the project is completed safely, on time, and within budget. You’ll manage a team of Site Managers and Subcontractors, liaise with Contracts Manager, and maintain the highest standards of quality and safety. Here’s what you’ll do:

• Lead the site team: Manage a dedicated and talented team, providing leadership, direction, and mentoring to Site Managers, Foremen, and subcontractors.
• Drive project delivery: Oversee the day-to-day running of the site, ensuring that all work is completed to schedule, to budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
• Ensure safety & compliance: Enforce the highest standards of health and safety, ensuring that all activities comply with legal regulations and best practice.
• Coordinate resources: Ensure that the right resources – labour, materials, and equipment – are available and allocated efficiently to meet project timelines.
• Problem-solving: Resolve any issues on-site promptly, managing challenges in a proactive and professional manner.
• Quality control: Monitor the construction process to ensure that quality standards are met and that the finished product aligns with the client’s vision and specifications.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience: A proven track record in managing large-scale commercial projects with a Tier 1 contractor. Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in a senior site management role.
• Leadership: Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage diverse teams across all phases of construction. You lead by example and motivate your team to deliver outstanding results.
• Project Delivery Expertise: Experience overseeing complex projects, with a deep understanding of construction processes, scheduling, and cost management.
• Health & Safety: A champion of health and safety, with thorough knowledge of safety standards, protocols, and regulations in commercial construction.
• Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, subcontractors, and the wider project team.
• Problem-Solving Ability: Strong analytical and decision-making skills, able to identify issues early and resolve them efficiently.
• Technical Knowledge: A solid understanding of construction techniques, materials, and methodologies, with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Educational Background: A degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred, though equivalent experience will also be considered.
