Senior Site Engineer – Residential Construction

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Senior Site Engineer to oversee the construction of a medium-sized residential development in County Meath. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional to play a pivotal role in delivering a high-quality project for a well-established construction company.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all engineering aspects of the project, ensuring compliance with design specifications and industry standards.
• Supervise site operations, including setting out, surveying, and quality control.
• Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery of project milestones.
• Monitor progress, identify challenges, and propose solutions to mitigate risks.
• Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations and maintain site documentation accordingly.
• Manage materials, resources, and equipment to optimize efficiency and cost control.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and site personnel.

Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Site Engineer, with at least 5 years in residential construction.
• Proficiency in setting out using modern survey equipment (e.g., GPS, Total Station).
• Strong understanding of Irish building regulations, standards, and safety practices.
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in project management and CAD software.
• Valid Safe Pass and Manual Handling Certification.
