CSR is working on behalf of a leading Building Contractor in London that has an excellent opportunity for a 2 X Senior Quantity Surveyors to join the commercial team.

The company has experienced a significant level of growth within the current construction market, and has secured a number of projects within the Commercial & Residential sectors

Wishing to employ a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will commercially manage projects up to the value of £50M. This is fantastic opportunity to continue developing and growing with this organisation

Reporting directly to Construction Director you will commercially manage a number of new build projects (student accommodations, hotels, apartment developments), helping to ensure that financial profitability and the entire commercial aspects of all new build projects under their control are managed effectively.

Working closely with the Contracts Manager, you will:

• Liaising with CM to ensure scheme is completed on time to programme and to Budget
• Assisting CM in selecting teams to deliver projects
• Sub-contract appointment
• Liaising with clients QS and agreeing variations and final account
• Administration of the Contract with client and sub-contractors
• Liaising with in house estimator and advising of budgets
• Attendance of management meetings
• Production of CVRs - for Manager
• Costing Value engineering proposals

Suitable Applicants

• Quantity Surveying Degree
• Minimum 5 years' main contracting experience
• Proven track record of working as the Project QS on projects of £10M+
• You will be a commercially astute, hands on Quantity SurveyorBe Proficient in the use of Microsoft packages e.g. Excel, Word & PowerPoint
• Have the drive and work ethic to want to progress within a forward thinking and dynamic organisation
• Ability to ensure standards and specifications are met

You will be based in London 4 days per week, with the option of working from home the remaining day.

An excellent salary package is tailored to your experience ranging from £100K-120K, depending on experience.
