Senior Quantity Surveyor - Dublin - Accommodation

CSR is working with a Tier One Building Contractor based in Dublin, wishing to appoint a Senior Quantity Surveyor.

Involved in Commercial, Residential & Data Centre Projects up to €100M, they are willing to pay accommodation mid-week with work from home options on a Monday and a Friday.

Working closely with the Senior Management team responsibilities for projects will included;

• Management of all Project Commercial matters
• Develop and expand the commercial knowledge of the project team
• Oversee Vendors/Subcontracts and enforce commercial terms as necessary
• Review all commercial plans to deliver maximum margin
• Provide contractual advice during the execution process
• Identify improvements to commercial procedures
• Manage the monthly commercial audit and reporting process
• Manage CVRs monthly to satisfy the requirements of the Business Unit/Company and provide any other reports which may be required
• Ensure compliance with corporate governance
• Manage and review cost to complete forecasts
• Monthly payment applications and cash collection
• Ensure all valuations are submitted on time
• Maximise monthly valuations
• Deal with claims preparation, final account negotiation and settlement

The Senior Quantity Surveyor will have a degree in Quantity Surveying/ Related Discipline (Engineering) and have the desire to develop to Commercial Manager level.

You will have a minimum of 8-10 years' commercial experience within a contracting environment, PQS backgrounds will also be considered.

You will be a conscientious, organised individual and a good communicator.
