Senior MEP Coordinator

Due to recent project wins and repeat clients a leading M&E Contractor now requires a Senior MEP Coordinator to work on long term Projects in North Dublin.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall MEP integration from the design team, specialist subcontractors and other stakeholders to ensure a successful project delivery.

 

Key Duties:

  • Main responsibilities fall into 3 main categories: Preconstruction: Design, review and coordination.
  • Prepares, completes or reviews all project documentation to ensure accuracy.
  • Provides project status report, financial reports and project schedules in accordance with guidelines on timeliness and completeness of information.
  • Monitoring of construction installation, field coordination and provide necessary problem solving.
  • Promptly notify Operational staff of any situations that would have a significant impact on the completion date, cost or quality. 
  • Project completion, start up, testing and acceptance. 
  • Develop full plans for all MEP systems that identify and define the following; all test requirements, required inspections, factory start-up of major equipment, factory acceptance testing, project and vendor documentation requirements and integrated test plans demonstrating full system integration

Qualification:

·         3rd Level qualifications: Mechanical, Electrical Engineering Degree.

·         Chartered member of an engineering body.

·         0 years’ experience in similar role

·         Strong IT skills –, AutoCAD, BIM, CDE,

·         Strong communication skills both oral and written  

·         Experience in commercial and residential projects coordinated in BIM from start to finish.

·         A C1 level of English written and spoken. (For non-Irish national)
