About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineer to join our team and take charge of the engineering aspects of a major construction project in South Wexford. You will work alongside project managers, subcontractors, and a talented engineering team to ensure the successful delivery of this large-scale development. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee the technical aspects of the project, ensuring it meets quality, cost, and time objectives.
• Provide direction to a team of engineers and coordinate the activities of subcontractors on-site.
• Review project plans and specifications, identifying any potential design or constructability issues.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Manage project documentation, including engineering reports and technical submissions.
• Proactively address any engineering challenges or issues, providing timely solutions.
• Monitor project progress, conducting site inspections, and providing regular updates to senior management.

Skills & Qualifications:

• A degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a senior engineering role within the construction industry.
• Proven track record of overseeing large-scale construction projects, particularly in the commercial, residential, or infrastructure sectors.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• In-depth knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and best practices.
• Familiarity with relevant engineering software and tools.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• A strong focus on health, safety, and environmental standards.
