A Design & Build contractor based in Co. Antrim seeks to appoint a Quantity Surveyor to the commercial team.

Hybrid working is available with this role - up to 3 days per week working from home options. 

Managing commercial aspects on 1-2 projects at any one time, you will carry out the following duties:

The Role:

• Managing costs on a wide variety of new building projects and structures and undertaking costs analysis
• Advising on procurement strategy
• Involvement in design meetings and advising on build-ability issues
• Assisting in establishing the clients requirements and undertaking feasibility studies
• Performing risk and value management and cost control
• Providing advice on contractual claims

This job opportunity presents the chance to join a forward thinking organisation, with a supportive Commercial Manager, and opportunities to progress and become a Chartered Quantity Surveyor (if this is a path you would like to develop).

The ideal person will have a proven track record as a Quantity Surveyor (min 3/4 years' experience) with contractor. You will ideally have experience working on projects over £2M and possess a degree in Quantity Surveying.
