CSR is working with a well-known building contractor base in Co. Antrim that is seeking to recruit a Quantity Surveyor with MTC experience.

This is a permanent vacancy for Quantity Surveyor with a minimum of 2/3 years' experience.

Reporting to the Senior Surveyor responsibilities will include:

• On-site measurements and preparation of accounts
• Estimating and preparing costs
• Ensure timely submission of accounts
• Preparation and submission of interim and variation claims
• Attending regular progress meetings with client
• Prepare monthly progress reports
• Maintaining reporting system
• Prepare interim cost reports
• Negotiate rates/prices withlabour-only subcontractors
• Assisting with take-off's for tendering purposes
• Assistingthe Business development team in pricing
• Periodically review projects with Operations Director

Applicants ideally will have previous experience working on a Measured Term Contract ideally on PSA Schedules.
The successful candidate will be client facing, will demonstrate a strong commercial awareness and must have experience of MTC contracts and the use of schedules of rates. Estimating experience would also be beneficial.
