My client is a specialist interior fit-out contractor operating in a variety of sectors ranging from leisure & hospitality, high end commercial office, hotel, luxury residential, museum, heritage and art sector, working on landmark prestigious project throughout the UK and Ireland.

The Quantity Surveyor Role:

Focusing on Projects in the High End Interior Fit-Out Sector they are looking for an Intermediate Level Quantity Surveyor to deliver refurbishment and interior fit-out projects, throughout the UK. You will join a commercial team made of individuals who have come together with extensive experience in the High End Interiors market place.

Job Description / Key Responsibilities:

• Commercial management of all aspects of projects.
• Preparing documentation for sub-contractors to price; obtaining and reviewing quotes.
• Analysing, pricing and control of changes and variations.
• Cost control reporting and risk management.
• Communicating with all parties on technical and pricing matters to ensure compliance and economic benefits to the company.
• Establish and enhance professional working relationships with clients and sub-contractors.
• Working closely as part of a team to successfully deliver projects.

The QS:

• Minimum 5 year' experience in a Quantity Surveying /Commercial role.
• Fitout experience preferable.
• Relevant qualification to degree level preferable.
• Commercial and contractual awareness.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills (verbal and written).
• IT skills, proactive attitude and strong time management.
