CSR CONSTRUCTION JOBS

Quantity Surveyor - Housing - Mid Ulster 

CSR currently invite applications from suitably qualified Quantity Surveyors that have experience in housing contracts.  This position is a new role with a local contractor who has recently been awarded a number of projects throughout the province.

Duties:

• Have at least 3 years relevant quantity surveying experience preferably within a main contracting company although candidates from a PQS background will also be considered
• Possess a Third Level Qualification in Surveying
• Experience working directly with Social Housing Schemes
• Strong track record in preparing contractual issues
• Be able to demonstrate the knowledge and experience required to complete a project under budget taking into consideration difficult time contraints
• Have an extensive knowledge of construction practices that can be used on site to analyse the design and propose potential cost saving measures
• Possess advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office packages and Information Technology in general
• It would also be desirable to have experience of writing PQQ, Bid and Tender submissions along with previous experience of e-tendering

A competitive salary package will be on offer, along with all local projects within the Co. Derry, Antrim & Belfast regions.
