A specialist interior and refurbishment contractor who have built an excellent reputation for delivering a wide range of high-end luxury projects wishes to recuit a Quantity Surveyor with a minimum of 3 years' experience. 

Weekly travel to London is required Monday to Thursday. 

Job Description / Key Responsibilities:

• Commercial management of specific aspects within project.
• Preparing documentation for subcontractors to price; obtaining and reviewing quotes.
• Review, analysis, negotiation and procurement of subcontract packages.
• Analysing, pricing and control of changes and variations.
• Recording and control of on site works - variations / dayworks / labour only work, etc.
• Accurate and detailed site measurement.
• Cost control reporting and risk management.
• Communicating with all parties on technical and pricing matters to ensure compliance and economic benefits to the company.
• Establish and enhance professional working relationships with clients and subcontractors.
• Working closely as part of a team to successfully deliver projects.

What we are looking for in the role:

• 3+ years' postqualification experience in a Quantity Surveying role.
• Fitout experience as part of a commercial team on large projects (£15m+) preferrable.
• Relevant qualification to degree level preferrable.
• Commercial and contractual awareness.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills (verbal and written).
• Awareness and delivery of Site QS requirements - measuring, administration, liaison with project teams, communication and negotiation with subcontractors.
• IT skills, proactive attitude and strong time management
