Quantity Surveyor – Fit out

A leading fit out contractor based in Dublin is currently recruiting for an experienced QS tojhoin their commercial team.  Operating across healthcare, retail, data centres and commercial, the company has established itself as a leading supplier of bespoke, high end finishes.

They have gained a reputation for delivering a quality orientated service to a number of repeat business clients.  

With a strong portfolio of upcoming work stretching into 2023, the company is growing steadily. 

The Role

Reporting to the Commercial Manager, the successful QS will be responsible for 

• Generate full project reporting of costs from design and quotation stage through to construction and final accounting
• Carry out full drawing take offs to formulate specification and valuation reporting
• Travelling to regular site meetings to ensure total project control
• Involvement in the procurement process with subcontractors and supplier rate negotiation
• Ensure ongoing subcontract performance and final costings meet with approval
• Working closely with our Senior QS to develop your own skills and development

The Person

• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or relevant subject
• 3+ years’ experience in a similar role
• Excellent organisation skills
• Strong commercial acumen
