A prominent building contractor with an enviable portfolio of projects is seeking to appoint a Maintenance Quantity Surveyor on a full-time permanent basis.

Reporting to the Managing Surveyor responsibilities will include:

•  On-site measurements and preparation of maintenance accounts

•  Estimating and preparing costs

•  Ensure timely submission of MTC accounts

•  Preparation and submission of interim and variation claims

•  Attending regular progress meetings with client

•  Prepare monthly progress reports

•  Maintaining MTC reporting system

•  Prepare interim cost reports

•  Negotiate rates/prices with labour-only subcontractors

•  Assisting with take-off's for tendering purposes

•  Assisting  the Business development team in pricing FM Contracts

•  Periodically review projects with Operations Director

In order to be considered for this role the successful applicant will have a degree in Quantity Surveying and have 2/3 years' experience within the industry. Applicants with MTC contract experience will be advantageous but not essential.
