About the Company:
CSR is working with one of Ireland’s leading main contractors, renowned for delivering high-quality, large-scale residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments. Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team and oversee the construction of a new, exciting development in South Dublin.

Project Overview:
The development will consist of 100 high-quality residential apartments along with retail units on the ground floor, contributing to the revitalisation of the area. This is a major project, and we are looking for a skilled and dedicated Project Manager to ensure its successful delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Role Overview:
As Project Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management of the construction project through to completion. You will lead the project team, ensuring smooth coordination of resources and subcontractors. Your role will be pivotal in managing the day-to-day operations of the site while maintaining focus on the project’s scope, schedule, and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the delivery of the 100-apartment development with retail units, ensuring the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Manage all aspects of the project, including planning, coordination, procurement, execution, and close-out.
  • Liaise with clients, architects, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure clear communication and that all deliverables are met.
  • Develop and manage the project schedule, ensuring that critical milestones are achieved.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, issues, and challenges throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with all project stakeholders, including local authorities, ensuring compliance with planning permissions and building regulations.
  • Ensure that all health, safety, and environmental regulations are adhered to, creating a safe working environment for all personnel.
  • Lead and mentor the project team, providing support and guidance to engineers, foremen, and subcontractors.
  • Prepare regular reports for senior management and clients, updating on progress, challenges, and key achievements.

Requirements:

  • A degree or equivalent qualification in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in project management, with a proven track record of overseeing residential or mixed-use developments, particularly those with retail elements.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, building regulations, and quality standards.
  • Demonstrable experience in managing large projects Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to problem-solve and make critical decisions on-site.
  • Full understanding of health, safety, and environmental standards in construction.
  • Proficiency in project management software and MS Office applications.
  • A proactive, results-driven approach with excellent attention to detail.
