Project Manager – Construction of a Large Student Accommodation Project

Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of a major student accommodation project in North Dublin valued at over €50 million. The Project Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of the project lifecycle, ensuring the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in large-scale construction projects, excellent leadership skills, and a proven ability to manage Projects from start to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning & Execution:
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Oversee project milestones, ensuring deadlines are met while maintaining quality standards.
Team & Stakeholder Management:
- Manage multidisciplinary teams including contractors, engineers, architects, and consultants.
- Act as the primary point of contact
- Facilitate clear communication channels to ensure alignment among project participants.
Quality Assurance & Compliance:
- Ensure all works comply with Irish building regulations, health & safety standards, and project specifications.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and adherence to quality standards.
- Manage change control processes, addressing deviations effectively and efficiently.
Sustainability & Innovation:
- Promote sustainable construction practices, ensuring the project aligns with environmental goals.
- Stay abreast of construction innovations to integrate cost-effective and efficient solutions where applicable.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Education: Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 10 years in project management, with a proven track record of delivering large-scale construction projects (€30 million+).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Procore) and strong knowledge of Irish building regulations.
- Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead large teams and manage complex stakeholder relationships.
