Project Coordinator/ Estimator

A specialist contractor that provides complete turnkey solutions for Office Fitout, Refurbishment and Office Furniture projects has a new opportunity for a Project Coordinator/ Estimator to join the team. 

Role & Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing quotations, acknowledgements, orders and coordinating with programme scheduling and liaising with subcontractors on site.  Activities will include;

  • Take off quantities from drawings
  • Prepare quotations
  • Maintain subcontractor and supplier relationships
  • Prepare orders and organise deliveries to site
  • Preparation of technical information
  • Health & Safety documentation
  • Programme scheduling
  • Project administration support

 

Experience & Attributes

The successful candidate must have a minimum of 1-2 years experience working in a project coordinating and project administration type of role (within the construction industry would be advantageous)

  • Good organisational and time management skills 
  • Experience pricing different disciplines
  • Experience in procurement would be advantageous
  • Excellent IT skills
  • Experience with scheduling
