Mechanical Site Manager

Our client is an M&E Contractors based in Dublin.  Founded in 2013, they gone from strength to strength delivering a wide range of projects across Ireland. They now require a Mechanical Site Manager to join their team.

You will be responsible for the management of all aspects of the construction site including managing sub-contractors, reviewing work carried out by sub-contractors, liaising with the client on any issues that arise during construction and ensuring that all work is completed on time and within budget.

The ideal candidate will have 5 years experience as a Mechanical Site Manager, come from a trades background and be well organised with attention to detail. You should also be an effective communicator both verbal and written so that you can effectively communicate with clients and sub-contractors alike.

Key duties:

·         Planning of all resources including labour, materials and plant.

·         Management of specific packages within the overall project

·         To manage and drive a large team to meet with all project requirements and deadlines.

·         Ensure the adherence to company safety and quality standards.

·         Responsible for all aspects of personnel under their charge.

·         Project Scheduling/ Planning.

·         Reporting on Project Progress to the Management Team on a weekly basis, with tasks tracked accordingly.

·         Proven record of co-ordinating and managing large projects.

·         Ensure successful Commissioning / Handover of projects in accordance with Company procedures.

Requirements:

·         The ideal candidate will have a mechanical trade’s background

·         Must have 3-5 years’ experience  in a similar role

·         Must have a good understanding of Irish construction regulations

·         The ideal candidate will have experience in the residential and commercial sector
