Our client is an established M&E contractor with over 50 years’ experience in the industry. Due to an increase in workload and several contracts won, they are now seeking to appoint an ambitious Electrical Contracts Manager to join their well-established team for Northern Ireland.

They are offering an attractive package and career progression opportunities to manage a portfolio Commercial, Educational and Residential project valuing up to £1.5M.

A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience required with Electrical installations projects values of £5K-£1M. You will have to work closely with the teams on site, being involved from inception to completion ensuring you have control on all aspects of the project, including labour, procurement, cost control and contract variations.

You should be an experienced M&E Contracts / Project Manager, educated to HNC as a minimum level of qualification with a proven background of successfully delivering multiple Commercial, Educational and Health projects valuing up to £1.5M. as well as excellent knowledge of the building services and construction industries as well as a strong understanding of construction contracts and health and safety legislation. 

Role:

• Ensure all activities are delivered to the agreed time, cost, service, specification and presentation.
• Continually identify business improvements and ensure the integration
• Promote Business Development
• Liaising with Clients and Senior Management
• Ensuring Health and Safety compliance

Successful candidate:

• Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience within Project Management
• Must have an Electrical biased background
• Highly motivated, excellent management/motivational skills
• Excellent Technical knowledge
• Track-record of delivering products on them and within budget
• Ambitious and Target-driven
