A Top 5 Main Contractor is currently recruiting for an experienced M&E Quantity Surveyor to join their Dublin Office.

Established over 100 years ago, the company has developed a leading reputation as one of Ireland’s most reputable main contractors.

With an unrivalled pipeline of work they are currently looking to recruit an experienced Quantity Surveyor to work on M&E packages throughout Dublin

Some current projects include:

·         €400m Data Centre

·         €60m Office Development

·         €13m Hotel Development

·         €70m leisure project

·         €80m Civil Engineering project

Responsibilities

·         Preparation of reports and technical documentation, as well as assisting with bid and tender documentation, and contractual terms.

·         Providing contractual advice

·         Undertaking audits of interim payments/final accounts

·         Measurement

·         Prepare cost, value and reconciliation monthly reports on each assigned project

·         Produce breakdowns, and undertake value engineering process to meet Client budgetary requirements

·         Attend internal hand-over meetings

·         Liaise with Clients, Sub-Contractors, Suppliers to ensure information; costs, profitability and value meet the requirements of each project.

·         Cost control during design and construction stages of works;

·         Final Accounts

Criteria

·         Degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying or Building Services Engineering

·         Project based experience overseeing subcontractor packages, management of a variations account and assisting in close out and agreement of final accounts

·         4+ years’ experience in a similar role

·         Strong knowledge of M&E

·         Excellent Communicator

·         Strong reporting skills
