Job Role: Junior Safety Advisor

Our client one of Irelands leading main building contractors is looking to employ a junior safety advisor.

As a Junior Safety Advisor, you will be tasked with managing and maintaining the company’s safety management system and CMS system.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

·         Conducting regular, formal site audits and carrying out inspections as directed in the safety management system

·         Offer guidance, instruction, and advise on all health and safety matters to management, safety representatives, and employees, including sub-contractors as necessary

·         Aid in the company’s vision on maintaining a healthy, incident and injury free workplace.

·         Ensure that all accidents are reported, recorded, investigated and appropriate actions are taken to ensure that they do not happen again

·         Enforce the implementation of company’s policies and procedures for health safety and environmental issues

·         Conducting regular safety inspections and risk assessments. Developing and implementing safety policies and procedures.

·         Manage & maintain employee training records in conjunction with the training department.

·         Ensure equipment is installed safely, manage and organise the safe disposal of hazardous substances.
