An M&E contractor is actively looking to recruit a Junior Electrical Estimator to their team. This is an exciting time join a company who have fantastic ongoing projects and a strong pipeline throughout 2023 with scope for additional growth. Client is happy to hear from Junior Estimator who have experience within the building service industry using estimating software or a time served Electrician looking to make a change to an office based role.

As a Junior Electrical Estimator you will be expected to demonstrate and excellent level of technical knowledge, including a good working knowledge of Electrical Installations.

The main duties and responsibilities will include:

• Hold a sound working knowledge of up-to-date building regulations and coding.
• Complete take-offs from drawings/information provided.
• Full document control on each tender.
• Liaise with subcontractors/suppliers to gain competitive quotations.
• Produce quantified schedule of rates.

Requirements:

• Time served Electrician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
• Proven track record and experience in Electrical Installations.
• Excellent time management skills with ability to work under pressure.
• Good interpersonal skills to build relationship with both colleagues and clients.
• Computer literate with competency in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication skills.
