A specialist joinery manufacturer based in Co. Antrim has a new opportunity for an Estimator to join the team.

The company, based in Lisburn has built an excellent reputation for delivering a wide range of high-end luxury projects across several sectors, including residential, hospitality, commercial and retail. The Role

• Prepare tender submissions and accurate cost estimations of joinery and cabinetry items on projects valued between £50k-£1m, ensuring the completed documents are submitted on time and in full.
• Provide value engineering options for clients.
• Work with PMs and finance to create variations and control cost for live contracts.
• Build and maintain estimating software library.
• Develop strong working partnerships & relationships with clients and contractors.
• Follow up with the client and provide accurate updates on submitted tenders and quotations.
• Obtain quotes and prices from sub-contractors & suppliers.
• Create and agree final accounts with Clients.

 The ideal candidate will have:

• A minimum of 2 years previous estimation experience and a history of successful tendering within the construction sector.
• You must have a strong commercial acumen and excellent communication skills
• You must be a self-starter and willing to work on your own initiative.
• Have a proactive approach and ability to overcome challenges.
• Proven ability to work within a busy team and work to strict deadlines.
