Heavy Plant Fitter

Our Client, a well-established, family business from County Armagh, full time Diesel/Plant Fitter.

They are looking for a self-motivated and professional Fitter who wants to play an integral role in their fast growing company.

Main Responsibilities of a Plant Fitter:

Repair, service and maintain plant equipment

Ensure all repairs and maintenance are completed in accordance with manufacturer and company standards

Have the ability to diagnose faults on plant equipment and associated tool hire equipment

Demonstrate exceptional customer service skills in all aspects of the working day

Maintain product knowledge

Carry out other tasks and duties as required

Be able to liaise with colleagues at all levels

Maintain Health and Safety to company standards

Keep accurate records of work carried out

Be able to estimate any damage/repair costs.

The key attributes of a Plant Fitter are:

Proven experience with plant equipment

Proven experience with hydraulic systems, electric motors and diesel engines

Have the ability to work under pressure and on own initiative

Be reliable and have a flexible proactive approach.

Take pride in work to ensure the machines are kept in a pristine state

Great written and verbal communication skills & excellent IT skills

 

Have a full clean UK driving licence
