Job role: Health & Safety officer - Dublin

The CSR Group Has been retained by one of Irelands leading Civil Contractors Who have a number of live sites within the Dublin area.

Your role will be reporting directly to the H&S Lead while completing everyday Duties on site. This is a multisite role for sites across the Dublin area.

They promote Health & Safety as being a main priority within the company and strive uphold a high level of safety in the work that they endeavour into.

The successful candidate will have prior experience as a H&S officer and good knowledge around Health & Safety within the construction industry.

Day-to-day responsibilities:

• Manage emergency procedures, respond to health and safety-related complaints or issues; Keep a focus on health and safety within the business
• Leading in-house training with managers and employees about health and safety issues and risks
• Keeping records of inspections findings and producing reports that suggest improvements
• Keeping records of incidents and accidents and producing statistics for managers
• Delivering Toolbox Talks and liaising with HSE, Fire Officers, Environmental Health Officers
• Carrying out regular site inspections to check policies and procedures are being properly implemented and adhered to
• Making changes to working practices making them safer and ensuring they comply with current legislation

Skills and qualifications:

• Recognised H&S Degree or Diploma (NEBOSH diploma or equivalent qualification preferred)
• 3+ years in similar role
• Previous construction experience
• Full Driver's licence
