Our Client is a successful Mechanical Services Engineering Contractor based in Co. Down. Due to considerable growth and an order book of contracts through to 2022 they are now on the lookout for a Health & Safety Co-ordinator to join their SHEQ Team.
Based out of their office in Downpatrick, the main duty of the role will be to assist in providing an efficient and effective administration to the Health and Safety Manager and SHEQ Team.
The ideal candidate will have strong administration experience and some form of Health & Safety qualification (NEBOSH or IOSH). Candidates with previous Health & Safety experience are encouraged to apply.

Packages around £20-30k.
Provide administrative Support to the SHEQ Department.
Control, Maintain and Update Management System Documentation to ISO and OHSAS Standards.
Assist in development of Office Quality, Environmental and Sustainability Policies.
Assist with the maintenance of databases.
Maintain organisational KPI’s.
Research and develop draft PowerPoint presentations.
Provide accurate and timely monthly departmental reports.
Maintain training logs/ renewals for all SHEQ Courses and collate training records for all site-based employees.
Assist in the further development of organisational Quality policies and procedures.
Assist in the development of IT tools/ systems to aid implementation of management systems.
Assist in the further development of organisational Document Control policies and procedures.
Production of audit statistics and performance reports.
Qualifications and Experience
Health & Safety Qualification (Desirable)
Excellent Communication Skills
Ability to write clear concise reports
