Groundworks Foreman- Cavan

The Role

Our client a delivers reliable infrastructure and they currently have an opportunity for a Groundworks foreman to join their water project in Cavan

Roles and Responsibilities

Management of sub-contractors, labourers and onsite staff

Management and control of health and safety issues

Ordering and control of materials on site.

Understanding company policies with regard to quality and ensuring these are implemented at every level of works

Reading & interpreting drawings for layouts, materials measure etc.

Take control of the Groundworks

Requirements:

Degree in Civil Engineering or a strong site background

Previous experience as a Groundwork's foreman on a water project

Adaptable, motivated and uses own initiative

Ability to communicate strategy to the wider team

Proven record of seeing projects through from beginning to completion

Background in large scale, commercial / mixed development construction
