Finishing Foreman - Belfast

CSR Construction is recruiting for a medium sized building contractor who predominantly works in Northern Ireland. The company has a new build housing project in the Greater Belfast area. The site has 15 traditional build houses with all the structures nearing completion. They now require an experienced Finishing Manager to come in and oversee the internal finishes to the project. There is 4 months left on this project and the contractor requires someone with experience pushing housing projects through to finish.

Responsibilities:

• Finishing internal dwellings in accordance with programme
• Ensure material & plant stock is sufficient going forward, this includes construction materials, welfare, H&S etc.
• Liaise with various subcontractors on a daily basis
• Chase materials that have not been delivered to site to ensure they are delivered promptly.
• Resolve day to day issue's onsite in a timely, amicable and efficient manner to ensure the programme is maintained.
• Motivate and encourage labour to work efficiently throughout the day.
• Plan works accordingly to tie in line with the programme and drive labour force to work at maximum capacity while on-site.
• Organise works in accordance with all Health and Safety guidelines
• QA all tradesmen work in a systematic way to ensure quality is maintained at all times.
• Ensure that work is built in accordance with the latest construction issue drawings.
