CSR is working with an interior fit-out, specialist joinery manufacturing & project management company based in North Down. Due to continual expansion and orders the company is currently seeking a proactive and experienced Quantity Surveyor/Estimator to work as part of our team on a range of projects.

Essential Criteria:

• At least 3 years estimating experience
• Qualification in quantity surveying
• To be able to work under pressure to meet deadlines
• Excellent communication and negotiating skills
• Excellent numerical, IT and problem solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast moving environment
• Ability to work on own initiative with minimum supervision
• Good knowledge of construction contracts particularly JCT
• To establish, maintain and enhance effective working relationships

Key duties to include

• Preparation of operational contracts and their execution
• Managing of finances / project budgets
• Managing and tracking of project commercials
• Preparation of sub-contractors and supplier payments
• Completion of stage payments along with preparation of final accounts
• Site visits and measurement of supply chain
