Electrical Design Engineer – Building Services

One of Northern Irelands leading MEP consultancies is currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join their Co Antrim office.

The successful candidate will need knowledge of design principles, coordination engineering, management of drawing production, site investigations and meetings, and have experience working on the Electrical elements of Building Services

The company is known for driving excellence in everything they do and work in the retail, commercial, hotel, leisure and the healthcare sector.

About the Role:

o    Produce working design drawings and documents for electrical Installations

o    Interpretation of design brief

o    Liaise and co-ordinate with client, architect, consultants, and construction team on design issues

o    On-going development of design and co-ordination with clients and contractors

o    Provision of technical support to site team and client as appropriate

o    Handover meetings and preparation of record documentation including assessment and integration of that received from specialist subcontractors

o    Provide technical advice and support to Project Managers

o    Attend client and design team meetings

o    Opportunity to develop within company

About the Candidate:

o    Qualified with a relevant Building Services Degree.

o    Must have a background in Electrical Design Engineering

o    Over 2 years' experience in the Building Services Sector

o    Vision and strategic capability

o    Exceptional technical knowledge

o    Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
