Contracts Manager- Galway

The role

Our client is one of the most experienced tarmacadam surfacing contractors in Ireland. The business has steadily expanded over the years and now carries out all aspects of Civil Engineering works including drainage, lighting and ducting, roads, car-parks, all-weather sports pitches as well as the supply of quarried rock, stone etc. They are currently seeking a Contacts Manager for their road project in Galway.

Roles and Responsibilities

·         Making sure the project is running in accordance to the programme and on budget.

·         Building and maintaining relationships with both the client and external customers.

·         Managing and monitoring sub-contractors.

·         Work to tight deadlines

·         Effective management and co-ordination of subcontractors and ensure all personnel on site conduct their duties to the highest standards.

·         Work with project staff to manage project documentation

Criteria

·         10 plus years of experience

·         Excellent IT skills essential

·         Excellent organisational and communication skills

·         Experience of client and contractor interaction and engagement.

·         Ambitious and self-motivated

·         Team player and an excellent communicator
