Contracts Manager – Water Infrastructure

Our Client operates in the UK & Ireland providing a range of Surveying, Trenchless, Environmental & Civil Engineering Projects to infrastructure sectors including Sewer, Rail, Water, Power & Construction.

Job Description:

We are seeking a candidate who can lead and manage at a senior level. They will influence every aspect of our business, with particular emphasis on profitability and operational excellence. The post holder would follow contract procedures to ensure the effective delivery of strategic and operational goals, leading our Water Infrastructure Department to greater success.

Key to the role will be an understanding of planning principals. Predominantly Water Rehabilitation Project focused, you will need to be adept at organising & controlling a workbank, fostering influential relationships at all organisational levels.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and inspire operational teams (direct and indirect) to continually drive compliance, improve performance and maximise profitability.
  • Implement & maintain processes by which the contract can align their resources, systems and employees to strategic objectives and priorities.
  • Take responsibility for full P&L budgets, commercial submissions and contract performance
  • Effectively plan and control labour, plant and resources to ensure efficiency

Skills/experience

 

  • Solid track record of success in a comparable role
  • Readiness to succeed at senior operational level
  • Relevant qualifications (or qualified through experience)
  • Water industry/utilities background.
