CSR have an excellent opportunity for a Project Manager to work on a large Civil Engineering contract in England. The contractor has over 30 years-experience operating out of Northern Ireland and mainland UK and now are now seeking talented Civil Engineers to their ever-expanding team.

The client is a well-established and renowned civil engineering and construction materials contractor possessing a highly impressive and growing portfolio of projects.

The client is offering new and exciting opportunities for a Project Manager to work throughout within England.  The role offers an excellent base for long term project experience and career progression. 

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Contracts Manager in supervising the development, running, maintenance and management of the site through to completion, ensuring that programme, quality and cost targets are achieved in accordance with the build programme, through the effective management of the site team and sub-contractors.

Criteria

·         HND / Degree Qualification in Engineering

·         2-4 years-experience as a Site/Section Engineer

·         CSCS Card

·         Driving License

·         Qualification or be able demonstrate suitable knowledge in specific skillset

·         Knowledge of Health & Safety and Environmental legislation

Duties

• Reporting to the Contracts Manager
• Responsibility for all day to day construction related issues
• Ordering with Suppliers for the project
• Co-ordinating Production Drawing Sign Off with client
• Programming the Works
• Co-ordinating Sub-Contractors with start dates etc
• Communicating design changes/detail to sub-contractors and site manager
• Monitoring progress on-site
• H&S checks on-site
• Quality Control checks on-site
• Sorting issues arising during project
• Assessing defects and issuing reports for rectification
• Liaison with client over routine project specific issues
