CSR have been retained by a leading contractor to source an experienced Civils Foreman for long term work in Waterford.

 The company are a well know Civil Engineering Projects contractor looking after projects like: Road Construction, Water/Wastewater Mains, ESB Civils, Utilities, Cable Installation & in Construction groundworks. They offer a leading salary and benefits package and are looking for a talented and motivated individual to join their expanding team.

The Role:

• Co-ordinate with the Project / Contracts Manager, Site team and Sub-contractors
• Management of sub-contractors, labourers and onsite staff
• Inspection of all comple
• ted work
• Understanding company policies with regard to quality and ensuring these are implemented at every level of works
• Take control of the Groundworks
• Management and control of health and safety issues
• Provide regular updates on the progress of works.

Requirements:

• CSR Card or Safe pass
• 5 + years’ experience as a civil foreman or site manager
• Previous civils experience
• Experience working with heavy machinery
• Experience in earthworks and structures and general civils works
• Good understanding of Health, Safety and Environmental regulations.
• Excellent communication skills.
