Project Quantity Surveyor - Interviewing Now

This Quantity Surveyor is an enthusiastic, confident and innovative Quantity Surveyor with  4 years commercial experience.

He has spent the past 4 years working within a cost management role initially starting off as a Commercial Assistant before being promoted to a Quantity Surveying role after 6 months within a main contractor.

Duties have included tendering, procurement and management of subcontractors whilst monitoring ongoing costs for the client & employer to ensure maximum profitability whilst agreeing final accounts.

• Payments & invoicing work orders through Verisae and Lucernex systems.
• Duties including preparing and forming Bill of Quantities pre- construction stage through to final account liaising with client QS 
• Preparing and analysing project costings for tenders such as materials, quantities, labour and time
• Negotiating contracts and work schedules in alignment with projects formed by the internal project manager
• Allocating and procuring work to subcontractors whilst overseeing their work at all stages
• Undertaking cost analysis for repair and maintenance work while compiling CVR's for
• the Finance Director
• Valuing completed work, overseeing bills and arranging payments
