Graduate Quantity Surveyor - Belfast

This Graduate Quantity Surveyor is qualifying with a BSc Hons in Quantity Surveying this year, and is currently in the process of moving to the Belfast area.

She carried out a placement year with a Groundworks & Refurbishment contractor where she was involved in pre and post contract duties:

• Pricing tenders off e-tenders
• Purchasing Materials & Hire analysis 
• Measured and priced elements sent from the main contractor to be priced
• Measurement of drawings 
• Managed conversion/ renovation of a change of use commercial building into social housing. 

She also worked over a summer within an architectural practice whilst studying and gained knowledge in Land Direct/ GIS, Planning Permission Applications/ Building Control and Fire Safety applications with disability access.

Wishing to secure work with a company commutable to the Belfast area she is:

• Open Main Contracting or Specialist Contracting
• Willing to travel midweek to UK mainland projects
• Immediately available to interview for a June start 
• Good communicator
• Keen to gain and develop QS skills and knowledge
