Bid Writer/ Coordinator - Hybrid

A Tier One Building & Civil Engineering contractor in Co. Antrim has a new opportunity for a Bid Writer/ Coordinator to join the team.

You will be involved on a range of varied projects with values ranging from £5M - £100M+.

The successful candidate will work as part of an existing submissions team. You will work alongside estimators and the technical team, on the preparation of high-quality tender submissions including methodologies and pre-qualification questionnaires.

The Bid Writer will be responsible for the following however not limited to:

  • Implementation of the bid winning strategy
  • Reviewing and analysing PQQ/Tender submission requirements to plan and develop the overall response
  • Writing, editing, and reviewing responses to PQQ/Tender questions, with support from the technical and estimating teams
  • Liaising with internal and external parties to develop methodologies and quality submission responses, including construction teams and external consultants
  • Coordinating inputs from bid team members to collate and deliver/submit PQQ/Tender returns, ensuring quality and consistency across all documentation in line with company brand guidelines.
  • Support updates to bid library documentation e.g. case studies, CVs and standard company information
  • Preparing for and attending presentations for client interviews
  • Creating/updating marketing information
  • Attending site visits and participating in PQQ/Tender interviews.
  • Creating/updating PQQ/Tender information on company IT systems;

The ideal Bid Writer/ Coordinator will have a minimum of 5 years' experience in writing PQQ and Tender responses within the Construction/ Civils industry.
