Bid Manager

The CSR Group is recruiting for an experienced Bid Manager. 

Reporting to the Tendering Director, the Bid Manager will play an instrumental role in leading the Tender team through planning, executing, preparing and submitting bids. Working across a wide variety of sectors including Pharmaceutical, Data Centres, Residential, Civil, and transport infrastructure and many more.

This role is a permanent, full-time position with potential hybrid working arrangements.

Duties:

• Lead the bid management process from inception to submission, ensuring all deadlines are met.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information and develop compelling bid proposals.
• Conduct thorough research to understand client requirements and tailor proposals accordingly.
• Coordinate with subject matter experts to create technical and financial documentation.
• Review and enhance bid content for clarity, consistency, and compliance.
• Maintain a repository of bid-related documents and templates for future use.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the continuous development of the bid management function.

Criteria:

• Proven experience in bid management, preferably in the Construction industry.
• Strong understanding of contract management principles and practices.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy.
• Engineering Degree is desirable.
