BIM Technician

·         County Down

·         BIM Experience 1+ Years (Hands on project experience)  

·         £30k - £40k Experience Dependant

·         High rise residential/ 5* Hotels/Apartments

You will be joining one of the most exciting M&E teams in Northern Ireland, well known for their fantastic work on some of the largest projects in NI and various multi-million-pound projects in London.

A new vacancy has become available on their BIM team whereby you would be joining the leading BIM team in Northern Ireland. A great salary and benefits package is on offer and the opportunity to put your name on some top end projects.

Role & Responsibilities

You will be working alongside the Directors and existing BIM Manager. You will be responsible for the following:

• Active production of project information in Revit
• Developing the practice’s BIM protocol and office standards document
• Daily management of BIM workflows
• Preparation of project specific BIM Execution plans
• Develop Revit graphic standards, to maintain consistency though different projects
• Creating Revit families for use by the teams
• Regular model reviews and audits
• Troubleshooting BIM model issues.
• Support and train teams on Revit and BIM protocols

Required Skills & Experience

• Experience working on large scale Revit
• Minimum degree level qualification in relevant degree
• Skilled user of Revit, and understanding of BIM protocols
• Ability to work independently, with precise attention to detail
• Able to work accurately and efficiently to meet deadlines and client expectations
• Excellent communication skills and an aptitude to mentor and train
