The Role

CSR is currently working on behalf of one of Ireland's busiest and most reputable Structural and Civil Design Consultancies in their recruitment of a Structural Engineer.

With a range of current projects in multiple sectors, the company remain busy and so are looking to appoint a Structural Engineer to manage projects from inception to completion. Your New Company provide full civil, structural and traffic engineering consultancy service, working closely with the other members of the design team to provide a cost effective design solution to the Client’s requirements. Their highly skilled and experienced team of employees including, Chartered Engineers, Senior Engineers, CAD Technicians and Administrative Staff offer a quality service, quick turnaround times and all projects include professional indemnity insurance cover.

 Responsibilities

·         Management of structural design projects

·         Client Interface

·         Calculations

·         Development of junior staff

• Timber Frame Design
• Structural Surveys 
• Certification of Structural Design
• BER Certification
• Monitoring of Construction (Site Supervision)
• The role of Assigned Certifier and Expert Witness Services.

The Person

·         Educated to BEng / MEng level in either Civil or Structural Engineering

·         Engineer with previous experience working in a consultancy environment

·         Strong organisation and communication skills

·         Demonstrable experience in managing projects from design stage through to final handover

·         Capability ion mentoring junior staff with a focus on development
