Setting Out Engineer – Dublin City Centre

The CSR group is looking for a Setting Out Engineer with at least 2-3 years’ experience working with a main contractor to join one of Irelands top building contractors on a €60 million+ project in Dublin’s City Centre. Our client has been a repeat tier 1 contractor for many years and excels in all aspects of the construction industry from residential, commercial, industrial just to name a few.

The Role 

• Report directly to the Senior Engineer
• Setting out of all works and survey the site
• Ensure that all materials used and work performed are in accordance with the specifications
• Inspect facilities and analyse operational data
• liaise with any consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project
• Ensure all health and safety best practises are being followed at all times
• Assist with General admin, management of all staff on site

The Candidate

• Degree in Engineering
• Experience with a main contractor ideally 2-3 years’ minimum
• Setting Out experience
• Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills to work as part of a team
• Accuracy, attentive to detail, and a methodical nature
• Excellent IT skills
