A Senior Quantity Surveyor is required by a leading Main Contractor based in Dublin.

The Company

With over 70 years’ experience throughout Ireland, UK and mainland Europe, the company has built a reputation for delivering complex construction projects to clients on time and on budget.

They have a broad portfolio of successfully completed projects across a range of sectors including Residential, Restoration / Refurbishment, Hospitality, Commercial, Industrial, Healthcare and Pharmaceutical.

With a number of high profile projects in greater Dublin, they are currently looking to bring in a Senior Quantity Surveyor to successfully deliver projects and to mentor junior commercial staff.

Reporting to the Commercial Director, you will be responsible for

·         Making sure that construction costs and production are managed as efficiently as possible

·         Variations

·         Measurement

·         Valuations

·         final accounts

Criteria

·         Degree educated in Quantity Surveying or related topic

·         9+ years’ experience working as a Quantity Surveyor

·         Previous experience working for a main contractor is beneficial

·         Excellent commercial acumen

·         Strong leadership skills
