Overview 

This role sits within a specialist interiors and themed environment business that delivers high specification, design led projects across the UK, Europe and further afield. Their work includes commercial developments, immersive environments and large-scale themed attractions for well-known global clients. They have a strong reputation for detailed planning, complex sequencing and the ability to deliver projects that require precision and coordination. 

You will also gain exposure to international work, including themed attractions in Dubai and Japan, along with involvement in a major European development that is the first of its kind. It is the type of experience that is difficult to find in the local market and offers a strong platform for someone who wants to work on projects that genuinely stand out. 

This opportunity is ideal for a Planner who is confident taking ownership of programmes, influencing delivery strategy and working closely with project teams to keep work on track. 

The Role 

You will take the lead on planning and programme management across a range of specialist interiors and themed environment projects. You will work closely with project managers, commercial teams and clients to ensure programmes are realistic, coordinated and aligned with project objectives. 

Key responsibilities include: 

• Developing,maintainingand monitoring project programmes frompre-constructionthrough to completion
• Working with project teams toidentifysequencing,logisticsand critical path activities
• Assessing progress and updating programmes to reflect actual performance  
• Supporting delay analysis and extension of time assessments
• Identifying planning risks early and advising on mitigation strategies 
• Preparing planning reports and presenting programme information clearly to internal teams and clients  
• Coordinating with design, commercial and site teams to ensure programme accuracy
• Providing planning input for tenders and new opportunities

What We Are Looking For 

• Strong experience in a planning role within construction, interiors or specialist fit out
• Confident using planning software such as Primavera or Asta
• Ability to build, manage and update detailed programmes  
• Strong communicationskills and confidence working with project teams and clients
• Organised,analyticaland comfortable making decisions
