CSR are currently working on behalf of a specialist fit out contractor, to recruit a Senior Estimator. As a leader in specialist contracting, this client is renowned for excellence and innovation. You will be joining a highly motivated contracting team to work on a range of projects.

The Role:

• As a Senior Estimator you will be responsible for the accurate estimation of costs and the preparation of tender documentation for submission to potential clients. 
• You will be joining their Estimating team based in Co Antrim. 
• Preparation of enquiry and tender documents.
• Sourcing and assessing supplier and sub-contract quotations.
• You will prepare accurate Bills of Quantities from drawings, specifications and schedule of finishes.
• Prepare and analyse estimates from first principle and where necessary as a check against subcontract quotations.
• Calculation of site management and preliminary costs
• To be involved in Post tender and post contract discussions and cost consideration including evaluation of the contract.

The person:

• You will have a proven track record of estimating new build and/ or fit out type projects (min 5 years experience)
• Have completed relevant joinery, construction or commercial related course and be interested in a career within Estimating.
• Strong IT skills and preferably experience in the use of computerised estimating systems. 
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proactive with the ability to work to deadlines
• Previous experience within the joinery/ construction background would be an advantage.
