Our client is a very busy international fit out contractor who specialise in clean rooms, production, and data centres. They have work throughout Ireland, the UK and Europe

They have an exciting opportunity in Finland Turku now for a Health and Safety Advisor.

The packages are competitive and come with added benefits and bonuses, signing fee, living away allowance, accommodation, travel expenses etc, work is on a 10 day on 4 days off rotation.

They are immediately seeking to recruit an industry experienced Safety Advisor to join the team on site.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3+ years' experience, be NEBOSH or IOSH qualified and ideally hold a construction orientated degree. 

Reporting to the Regional HSEQ Manager, responsibilities to include:

• Carrying out site inspections / audits with photographic evidence and documented report
• Ensuring that all health and safety procedures are being adhered to 
• Issuing H&S Templates to the internal team 
• Monitor and report on site Accidents and incidents and report through internal procedures
• Support and advise on HSE Management and compliance
• Work with department managers to implement a H&S culture 
• Promote a proactive HSE approach/attitude among employees and site staff
• Support the SHEQ Director in developing / improving a healthy Health & Safety culture.

 Experience Required:

• NEBOSH or IOSH qualified (Diploma preferably)
• CSCS holder or equivalent.
• Degree Qualified preferably
• Previous Construction Main Contractor experience is desirable
• Direct experience of working on site or supporting project related Health & Safety 
• Excellent Communication Skills
• Commercial Awareness
• I.T. literate
• Ability to write clear concise reports
