Quantity Surveyor - Wicklow

An exciting opportunity exists for a project – senior level Quantity Surveyor to join one of Irelands most well-known and highly respected main contractors.

The company has recently opened a new residential department and has secured long term projects in the Wicklow area and so is recruiting for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to ensure the successful delivery of residential projects

Reporting to the Residential Director, you will be based full-time in Wicklow.

The Person

• Degree in Quantity Surveying (or other commercially related discipline).
• 4+ years’ experience in a similar role
• Previous residential experience is beneficial
• Ability to work in a team environment contributing across a project, site or area.
• Good management skills, with the ability to motivate self and colleagues to perform.
• Good planning and time management skills; able to manage activities simultaneously without compromising on standards and quality.
• Ability to work with colleagues to contribute to project and operational performance.
• Sound knowledge of construction practises and standards.
• Proficiency in administration, writing, numeracy, IT and MS Office.
