A Quantity Surveyor with Civil Engineering experience is required by a well-known contractor based in Co. Tyrone.

Wishing to appoint a Project/ Senior level QS you will be responsible for the following:

Main duties;

• Pre and post contract stages including feasibility studies, cost planning, reporting on tenders and agreeing final accounts
• Production and submission of Interim applications & claims for payment to clients
• Production and timely submission of interim valuations, WIP, Cash Flow Forecasts and reconciliation reports
• Preparation of sub-contract orders, valuations and final accounts
• Prepare quotations and budgets to be submitted to the client
• Advise / liaise with clients and customers of any variation to costs, and ensure the timely provision of information to all parties
• The ability to work as part of a team and take responsibility for own work

Candidate requirements;

• Relevant Degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Good communication skills and high attention to detail
• Strong IT skills including Microsoft packages
• Be able to work independently on own initiative and as part of a team
• Driving licence is essential
• Minimum 2 years' experience is required however more senior surveyor applications are welcome.
• Work will be based in Northern Ireland with limited travel to ROI on occasions.
